Verdi Gogh

Verdi (she/her) received her education from Oakland California's Laney College of Cosmetology in 2014. She’s spent time in high end salons, big chains, and small family owned shops, before landing here at Pioneer Barber Company. She specialize in clipper cuts, and shorter masculine hair, but she still enjoys giving a good blow out and loves playing with longer hair. Verdi’s strength is getting to know her clients in order to learn what’s best for them- and of course there's plenty of chit chat along the way. She will make you feel right at home when you’re in her chair!

At home Verdi is kept company by her pet family, and is constantly deciding what hobby she’s got time for. From snowboarding to paddle boarding, zooming around in video games or out and about, she loves living life to the fullest.

casey Roth

A licensed cosmetologist since 2006, Casey (he/him) has acquired an extremely loyal clientele who appreciate his speed, accuracy and his overall consistency. His willingness to stay current with today's hair trends are what led to him being featured on King 5's Evening Magazine for his undercut designs. Casey's passion for cutting hair does not stop when he leaves the shop. In his free time, he volunteers at Ronald McDonald House giving free haircuts to patients and their families staying at the house.

When not at work you'll find Casey practicing yoga, playing with his two adorable dogs or binging way too much on television and movies. Ask him what he's watching or obsessed with at the moment, if he hasn't already told you!
